¿Cómo combatir el Herpes Labial?

Me acaba de salir herpes en los labios, pero no sabía que era, asi que me puse a investigar en la red y encontré todo lo esto.

¿Qué es el herpes labial?
Es una infección causada por el virus del herpes simple. Esta infección lleva a que se presenten ampollas pequeñas y generalmente dolorosas en la piel de los labios, la boca, las encías o en la zona peribucal. Dichas ampollas comúnmente se llaman calenturas o herpes febril.

Tratamiento:

Sin tratamiento, los síntomas normalmente desaparecen en una o dos semanas. Los medicamentos antivirales por vía oral pueden acortar el curso de los síntomas y disminuir el dolor.

Lave las ampollas suavemente con agua y jabón (se puede recomendar un jabón antiséptico) para reducir la diseminación del virus a otras áreas de la piel. Aplicar hielo o calor en el área puede reducir el dolor.
